LMSG Mission Statement
Lutheran Military Support Group is a non-profit organization providing Christ-centered support to military service members, veterans, and their families.
LMSG is an incorporated WI nonprofit, run by a Board of Evangelical Lutheran (WELS/ELS) Veterans from all branches of service, in several states.
The group is a national level organization, designed to have national reach, but local impact. We are designed to be both an auxiliary to WELS Military Services, and the ELS Christian Service Board in their support of active duty service members, and an independent organization supporting the needs of our military veterans and our “military families” of both active duty members and veterans.
Bethany Lutheran College Military Monument
The ELS military monument was first proposed to the ELS in 2012 and conceptually adopted by the synod in 2017. The site chosen for this monument is on the BLC campus positioned in the area east of Division Street and west of the dormitory Edgewood Place. Learn more!
